Real Madrid entertained Cadiz at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 40th minute courtesy of Eder Militao’s goal. The Madrid giants went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Toni Kroos doubled his team’s advantage when he found the back of the net in the 70th minute. However, Cadiz got a consolation goal back as Lucas Perez scored just 11 minutes later. Still, Los Blancos hung on and earned a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.

The German international did his fair share of defending and had an excellent game in the Cadiz half. He set up Militao’s opener before going on to score himself in the 70th minute.

Valverde had a few bright moments in the game but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

He was a constant menace in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
