Manchester City entertained Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Man City made a sloppy start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Rafa Mir found the back of the net for Sevilla. The home team went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Rico Lewis equalised for Man City in the 52nd minute before Julian Alvarez got his name on the scoresheet and completed the turnaround for Man City in the 73rd minute. Riyad Mahrez put the game to bed just ten minutes later as Pep Guardiola’s men ended up earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against Sevilla.

GK: Stefan Ortega – 6.5/10

Ortega made one good save in the match but there was no clean sheet for him tonight.

RB: Rico Lewis – 7.5/10

He had a lively game down the right flank and scored the all-important equaliser for Man City early in the second half.

CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10

He got stuck in with a couple of solid tackles and was a threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 6.5/10

The Spaniard organised his defence well at times and was tidy with his passing.
