Manchester City entertained Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Man City made a sloppy start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Rafa Mir found the back of the net for Sevilla. The home team went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Rico Lewis equalised for Man City in the 52nd minute before Julian Alvarez got his name on the scoresheet and completed the turnaround for Man City in the 73rd minute. Riyad Mahrez put the game to bed just ten minutes later as Pep Guardiola’s men ended up earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and did well to last 69 minutes.

Mahrez had his moments in the final third and scored a late goal which killed the game off.

Alvarez engineered a few excellent chances for others around him and has got two assists and a goal to show for his efforts.

He made two good chances in the first half but got replaced at half-time.
