Manchester City entertained Fulham at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they looked to grab maximum points from this home clash in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s men made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Julian Alvarez found the back of the net. However, Joao Cancelo was sent off as the Cottagers responded positively by scoring the equaliser courtesy of Andreas Pereira’s penalty in the 28th minute. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

The ten men of Man City controlled the game well and managed to score an injury-time winner when Erling Haaland successfully converted from the penalty spot. The contest ended with the Mancunian giants earning a hard-fought 2-1 win at the Etihad.
