Leeds United entertained Bournemouth at Elland Road earlier today as they focused on securing a good result at home in the Premier League. The Whites made a quick start to the game and got themselves ahead in the third minute via Rodrigo Moreno’s successful penalty. However, the visitors responded immediately and completed the turnaround within the first 20 minutes courtesy of a goal each from Marcus Tavernier and Philip Billing. Leeds went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Dominic Solanke scored three minutes into the second half which put Bournemouth 3-1 up on the day. However, the West Yorkshire club mounted an epic comeback as both Sam Greenwood and Liam Cooper scored to level the scoreline at 3-3 in the 68th minute. Just like he did at Anfield, Crysencio Summerville ended up netting the winning goal in the 84th minute as Leeds United secured an impressive 4-3 win in front of their home fans.
