Brazil clashed heads with Switzerland at Stadium 974 earlier today as they hoped to earn another victory in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The Brazilians made a strong start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Tite’s men continued to dominate the match in the second half and finally managed to score the opening goal in the 83rd minute when Casemiro scored with an excellent strike. The contest ended with Brazil earning a narrow 1-0 win at Stadium 974 which was enough to secure their place in the knockout phases of this World Cup.

He was full of energy and running at the centre of the park but lacked quality in the Swiss half.

The Manchester United midfielder anchored the midfield with conviction and scored the only goal of the game with a brilliant strike.

CM: Lucas Paqueta – 6/10

He struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced at half-time.

RW: Raphinha – 6.5/10

Raphinha caused a few problems for the opposition but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

ST: Richarlison – 6/10

He had a couple of strikes at goal but had a quiet game in the opposition’s half.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 6.5/10

The Real Madrid winger was a constant menace down the left wing and had a goal chalked off by VAR as off-side.
