West Ham United will entertain Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Monday night as they look to earn maximum points at home. The Hammers suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool recently, so we can expect them to be eager to put in a good display in this Premier League game versus the Cherries.
David Moyes will probably set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his starting XI for this game. Said Benrahma is expected to start while Flynn Downes drops to the bench.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup Vs Bournemouth
Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will operate in between the sticks for the Hammers after shipping in one goal versus the Reds in his last outing. Kurt Zouma will play alongside Thilo Kehrer at the centre of the West Ham backline as they look to stop the Cherries from scoring during the 90 minutes.
Ben Johnson will fill in at right-back while Aaron Cresswell hopes to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them could get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Vladimir Coufal will be available for selection on the bench as he provides cover for the right-back position.
Midfield
Tomas Soucek will anchor the midfield along with Declan Rice as they look to dominate the game and engineer some clear-cut chances on the attacking end of the field.
The gifted trio of Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen will operate just ahead of them as part of the West Ham attack.
Both Fornals and Benrahma will have to carry the creative burden for the East London outfit on the attacking end of the field. We can expect Bowen to use his pace to cause a few problems for the opposition from the right wing.
Manuel Lanzini will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Gianluca Scamacca will lead the charge for West Ham in the final third. He has to find a way to be more of a threat in front of the opposition goal following a disappointing performance from him at Anfield recently.
Michail Antonio will be named on Moyes’ bench but could come on to influence the game in the latter stages if West Ham are in need of a goal by then.
