Bowen Gets 8.5, Kehrer With 7.5 | West Ham United Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Wolves

West Ham United entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result at home. The Hammers made a positive start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 29th minute when Gianluca Scamacca scored with an excellent finish. The East London club went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Jarrod Bowen doubled West Ham’s advantage in the 54th minute when he scored with an early finish. The match ended with David Moyes’ men securing an impressive 2-0 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham United player fared during the match against Wolves.

GK: Łukasz Fabiański – 7.5/10

The Hammers’ goalie made a few solid saves at the back and managed to earn a well-deserved clean sheet this evening.

RB: Thilo Kehrer – 7.5/10

Kehrer gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the pitch and made one key chance in the final third.

CB: Craig Dawson – 6.5/10

Dawson performed his defensive duties well and did enough to keep a clean sheet.

CB: Kurt Zouma – 7/10

The French centre-back made a few important clearances at the back and was strong in the air as well.

LB: Aaron Cresswell – 7.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and made a good chance in the opponent’s half.

CM: Tomas Soucek – 7.5/10

Soucek got stuck in with some crunching tackles and engineered two good chances in the final third.

CM: Declan Rice – 7/10

The English talent anchored the midfield well and was also quite lively going forward.

RW: Jarrod Bowen – 8.5/10

Bowen worked hard defensively and was a real threat on the attacking end of the field.  He managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 54th minute.

CAM: Lucas Paqueta – 6.5/10

He came back to defend when needed but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

LW: Maxwel Cornet – 6/10

Cornet was quiet in the early goings of the game and was substituted in the 33rd minute.

ST: Gianluca Scamacca – 7.5/10

The Italian sensation scored a superb goal to open the goal-scoring but was mostly quiet in the second half.


LW: Pablo Fornals – 6.5/10

He was a constant menace in front of the Wolves’ goal.

ST: Michail Antonio – 6/10

The English striker couldn’t take any of his chances.

LM: Emerson Palmieri – 6/10

He was solid at the back.
