West Ham United entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result at home. The Hammers made a positive start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 29th minute when Gianluca Scamacca scored with an excellent finish. The East London club went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

He came back to defend when needed but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

Cornet was quiet in the early goings of the game and was substituted in the 33rd minute.

The Italian sensation scored a superb goal to open the goal-scoring but was mostly quiet in the second half.
