Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to secure maximum points on the road. Spurs made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 22nd minute when Harry Kane scored with a smart finish. The North London club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Antonio Conte’s men defended their narrow advantage well in the second 45 minutes and earned a hard-fought 1-0 win on the road.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 7.5/10
The French keeper made a few solid saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet away from home.
CB: Cristian Romero – 7/10
The Argentine sensation was solid at the back and made one key chance in the final third.

He made a couple of decent clearances at the back and was tidy with his passing.

Davies cleared the danger when needed and was accurate with his ball distribution.

He earned the ball back a few times but struggled to be accurate with his link-up play from the right flank.
CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 7.5/10
Bentancur anchored the midfield with conviction and was a threat going forward.
CM: Yves Bissouma – 6.5/10
He kept things solid at the back but offered very little in the Brighton half.
CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 7/10
Hojbjerg earned the ball back a few times and managed to clear the danger when needed.
LM: Ryan Sessegnon – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance in the final third.
ST: Heung-min Son – 8/10
The South Korean international caused a few problems for the opposition defenders with his running and link-up play. He picked up an assist for setting up Kane’s goal.
ST: Harry Kane – 7.5/10
Kane was a constant threat deep inside the Brighton half and scored the only goal of the game with a clever finish.

He struggled to get into the flow of the game.
