Real Madrid welcomed Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a good result in front of their home supporters. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Vinicius Junior finally broke the deadlock in the 70th minute when he found the back of the net to put his team 1-0 up on the day. However, Cristhian Stuani equalised from the penalty spot just ten minutes later before Toni Kroos was sent off in injury time. The contest finished 1-1 with Los Blancos only securing a point from this home clash.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Girona.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 6/10

The Belgian keeper made one good save in the game and won’t be happy after conceding from the penalty spot late in the game.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and engineered two decent opportunities from the right flank.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6.5/10

Rudiger put his foot through the ball when needed and was a dominant presence in the air.

CB: David Alaba – 6.5/10

He tried his best to keep things solid at the back but won’t be pleased after allowing a late goal.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 7/10

CM: Toni Kroos – 5/10

The German talent made two promising chances for others around him but let his teammates down by getting sent off in injury time.

RW: Federico Valverde – 7/10

The Uruguay international has a few bright moments in the game and picked up an assist for setting up Vinicius Junior’s goal.

ST: Rodrygo – 7/10

Rodrygo was a constant threat inside the Girona penalty box and did everything but score today.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 7.5/10
