Real Madrid welcomed Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result in front of the home fans. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 42nd minute when Vinicius Junior scored after attempting to play a low cross. The Madrid giants were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Unai Garcia equalised for the visitors just five minutes into the second half with a solid header. David Garcia was sent off in the 78th minute which put Los Blancos at a numerical advantage. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s men struggled to finish off their chances and were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Real Madrid player performed during the match against Osasuna.

GK: Andriy Lunin – 6/10

He made one good save in the game but won’t be pleased after failing to keep a clean sheet.

RB: Dani Carvajal – 6.5/10

The Spaniard was solid at the back and made one good chance in the final third.

CB: Antonio Rudiger – 6/10

Rudiger made a couple of crucial clearances but failed to deal with Unai Garcia’s threat in the lead-up to Osasuna’s equaliser.

CB: David Alaba – 7/10

He kept things tidy when defending inside his half and picked up an assist for Vinicius Junior’s goal.

LB: Ferland Mendy – 6/10

Mendy didn’t do much on the defensive third of the pitch and made one good opportunity in the opponent’s half

CM: Dani Ceballos – 6.5/10

He had a few bright moments but struggled to get a stranglehold in the game.

CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 6.5/10

The Frenchman earned the ball back twice and had a few strikes at goal.

CM: Toni Kroos – 7/10

The German talent anchored the midfield well and engineered two inviting chances in the final third.

RW: Rodrygo – 6.5/10

He had a few bright moments down the right flank but failed to register a goal.

ST: Karim Benzema – 7/10

Benzema was desperately unlucky to hit the post twice but deserves credit for being a constant menace up top.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 8.5/10

The Brazilian speedster caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defence and was fortunate to score with his attempt.

Substitutes:

CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 6.5/10

He made a couple of decent runs with the ball.

CM: Federico Valverde – 6/10

Valverde added more energy to Ancelotti’s midfield.

CB: Eder Militao – 6/10

He kept things solid at the back.

RW: Marco Asensio – 6/10

The Spaniard hardly had a sniff at goal.

ST: Mariano Diaz – N/A

He didn’t get enough time to make an impact.
