Manchester City faced off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier this afternoon as they looked to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. Manchester City began the game well but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Pep Guardiola’s side finally managed to break the deadlock in the 49th minute when Kevin De Bruyne scored with a superb free-kick. Man City sat on their lead well and earned a narrow 1-0 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player fared during the match against the Foxes.

GK: Ederson – 8/10

The Brazilian keeper made a few important saves at the back and was accurate with his passing. He will be quite happy with the clean sheet today.

RB: John Stones – 6.5/10

Stones made a couple of solid tackles to make life difficult for the opposition. However, he also had some nervy moments in the game.

CB: Manuel Akanji – 7/10

He did what was required of him on the defensive end of the field and was a threat going forward.

CB: Aymeric Laporte – 7/10

Laporte did enough work defensively to keep the opposition at bay and created a couple of inviting chances in the final third.

RW: Bernardo Silva – 6.5/10

The Argentine forward was quite tidy with his link-up play but never got a sniff at goal.

LW: Jack Grealish – 7/10

He made a couple of solid tackles and orchestrated a few promising opportunities for his teammates from the left flank.

Substitutes:

CB: Ruben Dias – 6/10
