Liverpool will clash heads with Rangers as they make their trip to Ibrox Stadium on Wednesday night for the UEFA Champions League Group A match-up. The Reds suffered a disappointing 3-2 defeat at the hands of Arsenal last weekend. In contrast, the Glaswegian outfit managed to earn a dominant 4-0 win over St. Mirren recently which will give them some confidence ahead of this European contest at home.
Liverpool Vs Rangers: Talking Tactics
Jurgen Klopp will probably opt for a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to ask his men to control the flow of the game and create enough chances to win this game. The manager might ask Harvey Elliot to play from the start replacing Jordan Henderson while Ibrahima Konate makes his way back into the playing XI.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could instruct his players to keep a solid shape at the back and try to catch the Reds off-guard on the counter. Antonio Colak will lead the charge against the visitors while Glen Kamara plays from the start.
