Liverpool locked horns with Rangers at the Ibrox Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 17th minute when Scott Arfield scored with a controlled finish. However, Roberto Firmino equalised for the Merseyside club just seven minutes later with a good header. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Jurgen Klopp’s men put on a real masterclass in the second half as they took the lead in the 55th minute when Firmino scored again before Darwin Nunez killed the game off just 11 minutes later. Mohamed Salah came off the bench and netted a hattrick within the span of six minutes as Liverpool raced to a 6-1 lead. Harvey Elliott put the icing on the cake for the Merseyside giants as he found the back of the net with a solid strike. The match ended with the Reds earning a dominant 7-1 win at the Ibrox.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player performed during the match against Rangers.
