Barcelona faced off against Mallorca at the Visit Mallorca Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to grab all three points on the road. The Catalan club made a dominant start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 20th minute when Robert Lewandowski scored with a good finish. Barca went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Xavi’s men controlled the game well in the second half and secured a narrow 1-0 win on their travels.

Gavi did his fair share of defending when needed and engineered two good opportunities in the Mallorca half.

The French talent caused a few problems for the opposition but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 8/10

The Polish striker kept his composure and scored the opening goal in the 20th minute. He had a quiet game in the second half.

He had some bright moments in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.
