Tottenham Hotspur entertained Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result in front of their home fans. Spurs struggled to score the opener in the first half and were held 0-0 at half-time.

Harry Kane finally broke the deadlock for the North London club from the penalty spot in the 59th minute before Pierre-Emile Højbjerg made the points secure with a good finish in the 86th minute. The contest ended with Spurs earning an impressive 2-0 victory at home.

He caused a few problems for the opposition but got replaced in the 51st minute. It was another frustrating outing for him.

Son caused a lot of chaos inside the Everton half but failed to register a goal this evening. Still, Conte will be pleased with his performance this evening.

ST: Harry Kane – 8.5/10

Kane opened the goal-scoring with a well-taken penalty and was a real menace inside the opponent’s penalty box during the 90 minutes.
