Chelsea entertained AC Milan at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to earn maximum points at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Blues made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 24th minute courtesy of Wesley Fofana’s goal. The home team controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 56th minute before Reece James made it 3-0 to the Blues just five minutes later. Graham Potter’s men ended up cruising to a 3-0 win in front of their home fans.

The Spanish keeper had to make one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet at home.

Fofana opened the goal-scoring for Chelsea but picked up an injury and was replaced in the 37th minute.

The Brazilian talent earned the ball back twice and was a real threat at the other end of the field as well.

Koulibaly made some important clearances at the back and did enough to secure the clean sheet.
RM: Reece James – 9/10
The English sensation got stuck in with some solid tackles and was a constant menace in the AC Milan half. He scored just after the hour mark which killed the game off.
CM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 8/10
He anchored the midfield with a lot of conviction and had a few lively moments in the final third. Loftus-Cheek has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Mateo Kovacic – 7/10
Kovacic earned the ball back twice but offered very little going forward.
LM: Ben Chilwell – 7.5/10
Chilwell did his fair share of defending and caused a few problems for the Milan defenders from the left flank.

The England international had some bright moments and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LAM: Mason Mount – 7.5/10
Mount caused all sorts of problems for the Milan centre-backs but didn’t do enough to register a goal.

The Gabon striker doubled his team’s advantage just 11 minutes into the second half but had a quiet game otherwise.
