It was not supposed to be a stroll in the park for Rangers against an in-form St. Mirren. The Buddies defeated Celtic before the break and the struggling Gers had to step up their game to avoid another setback in the Premiership race. And they did so incredibly by scripting a 4-0 triumph at Ibrox.
Below are the Rangers players rated in their 4-0 win against St. Mirren.
Allan McGregor: 7.5
Showed his excellence once again as he made some decent saves to secure a clean sheet from the last line of defence.
James Tavernier: 8
Forced Trevor Carson to make a number of saves. Converted from the spot after Antonio Colak was fouled by Declan Gallagher inside the Buddies box.
Connor Goldson: 7.5
Was spot-on with his tackles, dominated the duels and exhibited his experience by making no-nonsense clearances all throughout the contest.
Ben Davies: 7
Struggled in the air, particularly while engaging in duels. But he made swift recoveries to prevent threats from the opponents. Was replaced by Leon King minutes after the hour mark.
Borna Barisic: 8
Another exquisite performance from the Croatian whose stellar strike bounced off the post before Colak’s finish from the rebound. Kept on whipping in crosses and creating chances with overlapping runs and link-up play. Made way for Ridvan Yilmaz late in the game.
Ryan Jack: 8
Another strong performance from the Scotsman who dominated the midfield game with his movement and passing game. Made some tactical fouls to break down the Saints’ build-ups in the middle of the park. Was replaced by Glen Kamara in the closing minutes of the contest.
John Lundstram: 7.5
Another effective performance from the ex-Sheffield United ace. Carried the ball forward from the deep, operated in the advanced areas and kept on playing passes into the final third.
Scott Arfield: 7.5
The versatile veteran offered his creative spark from a slightly advanced role. Also showed his work ethic by regaining possession in the centre of the pitch.
Fashion Sakala: 8.5
Excellent down the right with his directness and cut insides. Went past three St. Mirren defenders before setting it up for Colak’s second, and also found the net in the closing minutes to make it 4-0.
Rabbi Matondo:7.5
Posed a constant threat with his pace and flair from the left. Created a few chances on his own before making way for Ryan Kent.
Antonio Colak: 9
The Gers hitman struck another brace as well as earned a spot-kick in a commanding victory at Ibrox. Made way for Alfredo Morelos with 12 minutes remaining.

A good few minutes for the Turkish youngster who has been the understudy to Barisic.
