Aston Villa faced off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground earlier tonight as they focused on securing a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Villans made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Emmanuel Dennis found the back of the net for the home team. However, Ashley Young equalised for Steven Gerrard’s side just seven minutes later as both teams went into the half-time break with nothing to split them.
The two clubs canceled each other out in the second half as the contest finished 1-1 after the full-time whistle.
