Arsenal faced off against Bodo/Glimt at the Aspmyra Stadion earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result on their travels in the UEFA Europa League. The Gunners made a good start to the game and managed to open the goal-scoring in the 24th minute courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s header. Mikel Arteta’s men struggled to create chances but managed to get into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The North London club sat on their lead well in the second half and managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win away from home.

GK: Matt Turner – 7/10
Turner made one good save in the game and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.
RB: Ben White – 6.5/10
He made one important clearance at the back and was good on the ball as well for Arsenal.
CB: William Saliba – 7/10
The French talent did what was required of him defensively and was accurate with his passing.
CB: Rob Holding – 7/10
Holding cleared his lines when needed and did enough to restrict the home team from scoring this evening.
LB: Kieran Tierney – 6/10
Tierney had a couple of bright moments in the game but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Albert Sambi Lokonga – 7.5/10
He earned the ball back twice and made two good chances in the final third.
CM: Fabio Viera – 6.5/10
The Portuguese talent came back to defend when needed but struggled to influence the game going forward.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 6.5/10
Saka scored the only goal of the game with a fortunate header in the 24th minute. However, he was mostly quiet in the second half.
CAM: Martin Odegaard – 7/10
Odegaard created some meaningful openings for others around him but didn’t get a sniff at goal.
LW: Reiss Nelson – 6.5/10
He showed some flashes of what he can do but was toothless in front of the opponent’s goal.
ST: Eddie Nketiah – 6.5/10
Nketiah had a couple of lively moments in the final third but never looked like he would score.

He made one good run with the ball.
CM: Granit Xhaka – 6.5/10
The Swiss talent secured the ball back once and made one good run going forward.
RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – 6/10
He was solid at the back.
RW: Marquinhos – 6/10
Marquinhos offered very little after coming off the bench.
CM: Thomas Partey – N/A
He didn’t get enough time to make an impact.
