Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Sporting CP at the Jose Alvalade Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road. Spurs were solid in the first half and were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Sporting grew stronger as the game grew old and managed to get themselves ahead in the 90th minute via Paulinho’s header before Arthur made it 2-0 in injury time. Spurs ended up suffering a poor 2-0 loss away from home in the UEFA Champions League.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player performed during the clash against Sporting.

GK: Heung-min Son – 6.5/10

The French keeper made a few decent saves in the game but will be disappointed for conceding two goals late in the game.

CB: Cristian Romero – 6/10

He tried to keep things solid at the back and made one good chance in the final third.

CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10

The English centre-back made a few important clearances at the back and was strong in the air.

CB: Ben Davies – 6/10

He won a few crucial 50-50 aerial duels and cleared the danger when needed. However, he won’t be happy after allowing a couple of goals in the latter stages of the game.
