Manchester United clashed heads with Arsenal at Old Trafford earlier tonight, hoping to pick up a positive result and put an end to Arsenal’s winning streak. Debutant Antony broke the deadlock in the 35th minute as he cleverly placed the ball into the bottom left corner from Rashford’s pass. Arsenal equalised via Bukayo Saka in the 60th minute; however, a quick brace from Marcus Rashford helped the Red Devils secure their fourth consecutive win in the league.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player fared during the clash against the Gunners.
Manchester United Players Rated In Win Vs Arsenal
David de Gea 6.5
The Spanish shot-stopper made a couple of excellent saves to keep his side in the game.
Tyrell Malacia 7
The Dutchman had a few nervous moments against Bukayo Saka, but he defended aggressively and hardly put a foot wrong in front of the goal.
Lisandro Martinez 7
The Argentine centre-back restricted Gabriel Jesus’ movement in and around the penalty area. His unorthodox way of putting in tackles had the Arsenal front-men on a string.
Raphael Varane 6.5
The French defender made a callous pass leading to the concession of a goal. He defended well, nonetheless.
Diogo Dalot 7
Impressive attacking play and fared decently against the likes of Gabriel Martinelli.
Scott McTominay 7.5
Defended with proper passion and desire, and took one for the team when needed.
Christian Eriksen 8.5
The Danish midfielder has restored the balance in Manchester United’s midfield. He helps his side play through the press in compact areas, while always having an eye for a creative pass into the other half of the field.
Bruno Fernandes 8
The Portuguese Magnifico played a peach of a through ball to Rashford that led to Manchester United’s second goal.
Jadon Sancho 6
A creative force in the attacking half but he needs to build a better understanding with his teammates.
Antony 8
Having scored the first goal of the game, it was a dream debut for the Brazilian winger. He couldn’t have placed the ball any better.
Marcus Rashford 9
With two goals and an assist, the England international seems to have found his form in front of goal.

He added solidity to United’s midfield.

He came on for Rashford in the 80th minute.
