Leeds United ended up investing heavily in improving their squad this summer with the notable signings of Brenden Aaronson, Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca. All of their major acquisitions have settled into life at Elland Road well and are currently key components of Jesse Marsch’s starting XI.

Leeds United’s High-Profile Summer Signings Reviewed

Brenden Aaronson

Aaronson has enjoyed his football in the Premier League following his arrival from Red Bull Salzburg for £29.56m this summer. He has what it takes to become a great, value-for-money signing for Leeds in the coming seasons.

Luis Sinisterra

Sinisterra has already shown his knack for scoring goals recently and might prove to be a shrewd, £22.50m buy for the Whites from Feyenoord. He could become a future star at Elland Road if Marsch is willing to play him regularly.

Tyler Adams

Adams has already impressed a lot of the Leeds faithful with his performances this season. He signed for the Yorkshire club from Red Bull Leipzig for £15.30m. Now that fee seems to be money well spent for Marsch’s side this summer.

Rasmus Kristensen

Kristensen signed from Red Bull Salzburg in a deal worth £11.70m and has done really well to fend off competition from Cody Drameh and make himself Leeds United‘s primary right-back. He has put in a few solid displays in the Premier League this season and seems like a good signing for the Yorkshire club,

Marc Roca

Roca has already been a positive influence at the heart of Marsch’s midfield and seems to be growing in confidence with each game. Marsch deserves credit for recruiting him for just £10.80m from Bayern Munich this summer.

Leeds have also recruited Darko Gyabi, Wilfried Gnonto and Joes Robles during the summer transfer period.

Leeds United’s Notable Exits This Summer

Raphinha – Barcelona for £52.20m

Kalvin Phillips – Manchester City for £44.10m

Leif Davis – Ipswich Town for £1.08m

Daniel James – Fulham on loan

Has Leeds United Boss Jesse Marsch Done Well With His Transfer Dealings In This Summer Window?

Losing both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips in the same transfer window was a bitter blow for Leeds. However, Marsch has done well to make some clever acquisitions and is currently relying on most of his major signings heavily to compete in the early stages of this Premier League campaign. The Whites have recouped a lot of money and have invested considerably in improving their squad, so it’s likely that they would avoid getting themselves into relegation danger this season with the likes of Aaronson, Kristensen, Adams and Roca in their first XI.
