Manchester United locked horns with Sheriff Tiraspol at the Sheriff Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on their travels in the UEFA Europa League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Jadon Sancho scored with a low strike. Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Man United’s lead from the penalty spot in the 39th minute as Man United went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Erik ten Hag’s men sat on their lead well in the second half and earned an impressive 2-0 victory away from home.
