Manchester City clashed heads with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to grind out a good result on the road to open up their UEFA Champions League campaign. Erling Haaland opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute as Man City cruised to a 1-0 lead at the half-time break.

Phil Foden doubled his team’s advantage in the 58th minute with a clever finish. Haaland struck again for Man City just nine minutes later before Ruben Dias added a fourth goal in injury-time. The match ended with the Mancunian giants earning a hard-fought 4-0 win in Spain.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the match against Sevilla.

GK: Ederson – 6.5/10

The Brazilian keeper had to make just one save in the game and secured an easy clean sheet at the back.

RB: Joao Cancelo – 8/10

Cancelo was solid when defending inside his half and picked up a couple of assists for setting up two of Man City’s four goals.

CB: Manuel Akanji – 7.5/10

He maintained a good defensive shape at the back and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet tonight.

CB: Ruben Dias – 8.5/10

Dias cleared his lines when needed and put the icing on the cake for Man City with a late injury-time goal.
