Manchester City clashed heads with Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to grind out a good result on the road to open up their UEFA Champions League campaign. Erling Haaland opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 20th minute as Man City cruised to a 1-0 lead at the half-time break.
Phil Foden doubled his team’s advantage in the 58th minute with a clever finish. Haaland struck again for Man City just nine minutes later before Ruben Dias added a fourth goal in injury-time. The match ended with the Mancunian giants earning a hard-fought 4-0 win in Spain.
