Barcelona faced off against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result away from home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan outfit made a solid start to the game and managed to get into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
However, Barca made a poor start to the second half and conceded the opening goal in the 50th minute when Lucas Hernandez scored with a brave header. Leroy Sane doubled the home side’s advantage just four minutes later with an excellent finish. The contest ended with Barcelona suffering a disappointing 2-0 loss on the road.

The Spaniard did his fair share of defending and made some decent chances in the final third.
CM: Gavi – 6/10
The Spaniard made some inviting chances for others around him but struggled to register a goal. He was substituted at the hour mark.
CM: Sergio Busquets – 7/10
Busquets anchored the midfield with a lot of conviction and was quite accurate with his passing.

He offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was unfortunate to hit the crossbar.
RW: Raphinha – 6.5/10
Raphinha had some promising moments in the game but never looked like he would score tonight.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 7/10
Lewandowski was a constant menace inside the Bayern penalty box but failed to score against his old club.

He made some encouraging runs with the ball but hardly got a sniff at goal.
