Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they focused on securing a win in the London derby. Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Kalidou Koulibaly found the back of the net with a great volley. The North London club failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg ended up netting Spurs’ equaliser with a decent strike in the 68th minute. However, Reece James regained Chelsea’s lead with a good breakaway goal just nine minutes later.

There was a twist in the tale as Harry Kane scored a dramatic injury-time goal for Tottenham as the two London teams played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the match against the Blues.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 6.5/10

The French keeper made one good save in the game but failed to keep a clean sheet in both halves.

CB: Cristian Romero – 7.5/10

He was a rock at the back and made some decent runs with the ball from the back.

CB: Eric Dier – 7/10

The English talent earned the ball back multiple times during the game and was a threat at the other end of the field as well.

CB: Ben Davies – 8/10

He made a lot of crucial clearances at the back and was a potent threat during indirect set-pieces inside the Chelsea penalty box.

CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 8/10

He anchored the midfield with a lot of conviction and scored Tottenham’s first equaliser with a good strike.

LM: Ryan Sessegnon – 6/10

Sessegnon was mostly ineffective and got substituted in the 56th minute.

RAM: Dejan Kulusevski – 6.5/10

He was full of energy and made two encouraging runs with the ball. However, he never got a sniff at goal.

LAM: Heung-min Son – 6/10

Son was mostly quiet during the game and could last only 78 minutes.

ST: Harry Kane – 7.5/10

Kane wasted a couple of glorious chances to find the back of the net. However, he kept trying and popped up with a dramatic injury-time equaliser to rescue a point for his side.

LAM: Richarlison – 6/10

He gave away the ball quite often and failed to threaten the Chelsea goal.

LM: Ivan Perisic – 7/10

Perisic picked up an assist for setting up Kane’s late goal.

He added more energy to Tottenham’s midfield.
