Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they focused on securing a win in the London derby. Spurs made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Kalidou Koulibaly found the back of the net with a great volley. The North London club failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg ended up netting Spurs’ equaliser with a decent strike in the 68th minute. However, Reece James regained Chelsea’s lead with a good breakaway goal just nine minutes later.
There was a twist in the tale as Harry Kane scored a dramatic injury-time goal for Tottenham as the two London teams played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
