Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers on their side of North London this Saturday evening. The Spurs come into the match on the back of a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Chelsea, so they will be looking to clinch all three points in the next fixture, whereas the Wolves conceded a goalless draw against Fulham.
Antonio Conte will probably utilise the 3-4-3 formation keeping the changes to a minimum. It seems as though Richarlison would still not get a start this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur 3-4-3 Predicted Lineup Vs Wolves
Defence
Hugo Lloris will operate in between the sticks for the Lilywhites as the French shot-stopper would hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday.
Cristian Romero will form the centre-half partnership with Eric Dier and Ben Davies at the heart of Spurs’ backline as Conte deploys a three-person defence.
Ryan Sessegnon should start at the left wing-back position, whereas Emerson Royal will fill in on the other flank as the right wing-back. The full-backs will be expected to stretch the opposition backline creating opportunities for the men up front.
Midfield
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg might start in the holding midfield position and could be assigned more of a defensive role to shield the backline.
Rodrigo Bentancur will slot into the central midfield role looking to create some clear-cut goal-scoring chances in the final third.
Attack
Harry Kane will lead the line for Tottenham this weekend. The England international will hope to find the back of the net and put his name on the scoresheet against Wolves’ defence.
Whereas, Son Heung-Min and Dejan Kulusevki would take up the wing positions to provide support from the wide areas.
Richarlison and Lucas Moura could come off the bench in the second half if a goal is required.
