Chelsea entertained Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to earn all three points in the London derby. The Blues made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 19th minute courtesy of Kalidou Koulibaly’s excellent volley. The home team controlled the match well and went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Pierre Emile-Højbjerg equalised for the visitors in the 68th minute but Reece James regained Chelsea’s advantage with a good finish just nine minutes later.
The home team’s resistance was broken in injury-time as Harry Kane scored a last-gasp injury-time goal for Spurs. Thomas Tuchel’s men had their points stolen as they played out a heated 2-2 draw in the London derby.
