Arsenal welcomed Fulham at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn maximum points in front of their home supporters. The Gunners made a good start to the game but struggled to be clinical in the final third as they went into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.

The North London club made a sloppy start to the second half as they conceded the opener in the 56th minute when Aleksandar Mitrovic scored with a calm finish. However, Arsenal responded just eight minutes later when Martin Odegaard found the back of the net with a deflected attempt. Gabriel ended up scoring the winning goal in the 85th minute as the Gunners earned a 2-1 win in the London derby.

Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Cottagers.

GK: Aaron Ramsdale – 7/10

The Gunners’ custodian made a couple of solid stops at the back and did enough to limit Fulham to just one goal.

RB: Ben White – 6/10

He made a couple of solid tackles but struggled to influence the game in the opponent’s half.

CB: William Saliba – 7/10

Saliba made two important defensive contributions and ended the game with an assist to his name.

CB: Gabriel – 7/10

The Brazilian centre-back committed a mistake in the lead-up to Mitrovic’s goal but made up for his mistake by scoring the winner in the 85th minute.

LB: Kieran Tierney – 6.5/10

He had a couple of bright moments in the game but got replaced at the hour mark.

CM: Mohamed Elneny – 6/10

Elneny made one good tackle but struggled to get into the rhythm of the game.

CM: Granit Xhaka – 6.5/10

The Swiss international anchored the midfield well and made two key chances in the final third.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 7/10

Saka was a constant menace on the attacking end of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CAM: Martin Odegaard – 8.5/10

He made a lot of promising runs with the ball and scored the all-important equaliser with a deflected attempt. Odegaard even managed to create two good chances for his teammates.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7.5/10

Martinelli orchestrated a lot of decent opportunities for others around him but failed to be clinical in front of the Fulham goal.

ST: Gabriel Jesus – 7/10

The Brazilian striker caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him today.

ST: Eddie Nketiah – 7/10

Nketiah made an instant impact off the bench but struggled to finish off his chances.

RB: Takehiro Tomiyasu – N/A

He came on for the final few minutes of the match.

CB: Rob Holding – N/A

Holding hardly had any time to influence the game.
