Raphinha’s Impressive Campaign For Leeds United Last Season
Raphinha has played a major role in the Foxes’ survival in the English first division. He has established himself as a key player after producing some influential displays in the attacking third. The 25-year-old managed to score 11 goals and create three assists in 36 matches for the West Yorkshire club last season across all fronts.
He has performed consistently in the attacking end of the field after averaging 1.5 tackles, 2.5 shots, 1.9 key passes and 1.8 dribbles per game in the English top flight. However, he has to take care of the ball while distributing possession as evidenced by his pass success rate of 69.3% (stats via whoscored).

What Could He Bring To Arsenal?
Raphinha excels at creating a yard of space for himself. He has excellent ball control and can make some decent runs down the flanks. Furthermore, he can even set up his teammates with some clear-cut goal-scoring chances in front of the opponent’s goal.
He has proven to be an attacking threat in the final third. At 25, he still has his best years ahead of him, so Arteta would be wise to bring him to Emirates stadium. However, the Brazil international would have to work on his ball distribution and link-up play to adapt to Arteta’s play style at North London.
All in all, the pros outweigh the cons, hence, Raphinha would be a brilliant addition for the Gunners on their run for a top-four finish in the next campaign.
