Benrahma Gets 9, Bowen With 8.5 | West Ham United Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Norwich City

West Ham United clashed heads with Norwich City at Carrow Road earlier today as they focused on securing a victory on the road. The Hammers settled into the game well and broke the deadlock in the 12th minute when Said Benrahma scored with a deflected attempt. Michail Antonio doubled the away side’s advantage at the half-hour mark via Michail Antonio’s easy finish. Benrahma went on to score in the first half injury-time which gave the Hammers a comfortable 3-0 lead at half-time.

Manuel Lanzini got his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot in the 65th minute as the East London outfit earned a dominant 4-0 win away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player fared during the match against the Canaries.

GK: Łukasz Fabiański – 7/10

He made a couple of solid saves at the back and secured a comfortable clean sheet at Carrow Road.

RB: Vladimír Coufal – 7/10

Coufal made two important contributions at the back but struggled to influence the game in the final third.

CB: Craig Dawson – 7.5/10

He was a rock at the back and kept the ball moving quite well during his time on the field.

CB: Kurt Zouma – 7/10

The Frenchman was strong in the air and cleared his lines when required.

LB: Aaron Cresswell – 7/10

Cresswell was solid at the back and made one good chance in the Norwich half.

CM: Manuel Lanzini – 7.5/10

He made a good opportunity in the final third and got his name on the scoresheet via the penalty spot in the 65th minute.

CM: Declan Rice – 8/10

Rice secured the ball back a few times for his team in midfield and made a couple of decent runs with the ball going forward.

RW: Jarrod Bowen – 8.5/10

Bowen caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and has got two assists to show for his efforts.

CAM: Pablo Fornals – 7/10

The Spaniard showed a few glimpses of his brilliance but didn’t do enough to find the back of the net.

LW: Said Benrahma – 9/10

Benrahma scored a brace to help the Hammers earn a comfortable win on the road.

ST: Michail Antonio – 7.5/10

He gave a good account of himself in the first half and managed to score at the half-hour mark. Antonio got substituted at half-time.

Substitutes:

RW: Andriy Yarmolenko – 6/10

Yarmolenko offered very little after coming off the bench.

CM: Mark Noble – 6.5/10

He added more energy to David Moyes’ midfield.

CAM: Nikola Vlasic – 6.5/10

Vlasic was lively in the final third.
