Real Madrid welcomed Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points at home. Los Blancos made a quick start to the contest and broke the deadlock in the 13th minute when Ferland Mendy found the back of the net. The home team doubled their advantage just six minutes later when Karim Benzema scored with a good header. Rodrygo made it 3-0 to Real Madrid in the 34th minute with an easy tap-in before Vinicius Junior added another goal just before the stroke of half-time. Los Blancos were leading 4-0 at the break.

Vinicius Jr. went on to score two more goals in the second half and completed his hat-trick in the process. The match finished with Real Madrid securing a dominant 6-0 win in the Spanish capital.

GK: Thibaut Courtois – 7/10

The Belgian keeper had to make just one save in the game and earned an easy clean sheet at home.

He did his fair share of defending and created two good opportunities from the right flank.

The Spaniard dealt with the danger when needed and secure the ball back a couple of times for his team.

CB: Nacho – 7.5/10

Nacho made a few crucial interceptions at the back and cleared his lines when the opposition were on the offensive.

LB: Ferland Mendy – 8.5/10

The Frenchman gave his team the all-important lead early in the game and was solid when defending inside his half.

CM: Federico Valverde – 8/10

He worked hard defensively and was a constant menace on the attacking end of the field.

CM: Eduardo Camavinga – 8/10

Camavinga got stuck in with multiple tackles and engineered a few decent chances in the final third.

CM: Luka Modric – 9.5/10

Modric caused all kinds of headaches for the opposition because of his vision and creativity. He ended the game with three assists to his name.

RW: Rodrygo – 8/10

He was a real threat down the right-wing and has got a goal to show for his efforts.

ST: Karim Benzema – 9.5/10

Benzema was once again unstoppable tonight. He finished the match with a goal and an assist to his name.

LW: Vinicius Junior – 10/10

The Brazilian winger had a dream game as he scored three goals and even bagged an assist. He deserves to be named the man of the match.

He was a threat but failed to register a goal.

Jovic came off the bench and secured an assist.
