Chelsea faced off against Leeds United at Elland Road earlier tonight as they hoped to earn all three points on the road. The Blues made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the fourth minute when Mason Mount scored with a good strike. Daniel James was sent off in the 24th minute which gave the West London giants a numerical advantage. Chelsea went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Christian Pulisic doubled his team’s lead in the 55th minute with a low shot before Romelu Lukaku found the back of the net as well late in the game. The Premier League contest finished 3-0 in favour of the Blues at Elland Road.

GK: Edouard Mendy – 6.5/10
He didn’t have a save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet away from home.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5/10
Chalobah got stuck in with some solid tackles and was strong in the air. He even played the ball quite well out from the back.
CB: Andreas Christensen – 7/10
The Danish centre-back did what was required of him at the back and was very accurate with his passing.
CB: Antonio Rudiger – 7/10
The German talent made two important clearances and performed well enough to secure the clean sheet.
RM: Reece James – 9/10
James did his fair share of defensive duties and was excellent going forward. He made a handful of decent chances in the final third and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Jorginho – 7.5/10
The Italy international anchored the midfield well and made two key chances in the final third.
CM: Mateo Kovacic – 6.5/10
He made a couple of decent runs with the ball but could last only 29 minutes.
LM: Marcos Alonso – 7/10
The Spaniard was solid at the back and was lively going forward.
RAM: Mason Mount – 9/10
Mount caused a lot of problems for the opposition goal and scored an early goal to give his team the ideal platform to secure the win. He ended the game with an assist to his name as well.
LAM: Christian Pulisic – 7.5/10
Pulisic got his name on the scoresheet just ten minutes into the second half and was a real threat in the final third.
ST: Romelu Lukaku – 8/10
The Belgian striker missed a lot of chances before finally getting his name on the scoresheet in the 83rd minute.

He won a few aerial duels and made one good chance in the Leeds half.
CB: Cesar Azpilicueta – 6/10
The Spaniard saw out the win with the clean sheet intact.
