Liverpool are set to face Southampton at the St. Mary’s on Tuesday night, both hoping to triumph over the other. The Reds remain with two League fixtures ahead of the UCL final against Real Madrid. The remainder of this season remains paramount for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Reds were victorious over their rivals Chelsea in the FA Cup final defeating them 5-6 over penalties. They are now desperate to win the next two fixtures in the hopes of lifting the Premier League crown.
The Saints recorded a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brentford last weekend which gives them all the more reason to return to winning ways in the midweek clash.
