Liverpool are set to face Aston Villa at the Villa Park on Tuesday night, hoping to pick up the three points on the away encounter in the midweek. The Reds are neck and neck with Manchester City, battling their way to the top of the Premier League table. The remainder of this season remains paramount for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they head into the UCL final and the FA cup final this month.

The Reds were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday, so they will be desperate to return to winning ways in midweek.

The Villans managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win over Burnley last weekend which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this midweek clash in the Premier League.

Team News

Firmino remains sidelined due to a foot injury and will miss out on important games for the Reds coming to the end of this season. The squad remains wary of the important fixtures ahead and would hope to steer clear of injuries.
