Real Madrid will clash heads with Levante at Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday night as they look to earn the three points on their home turf. Los Blancos managed to secure an impressive 3-1 win (6-5 on aggregate) over Manchester City in the second leg which ensured their place in the UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool later this month.
Disappointingly, the Spanish giants come into the match on the back of a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a whole host of changes to rest some of his main first-team stars. Luka Jovic might lead the line again as Benzema gets his well-deserved rest.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup Vs Levante
Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in between the sticks for the visitors hoping to get a clean sheet. Nacho Fernandez could partner with Vallejo at the heart of Madrid’s defence.
Lucas Vazquez could get a chance to impress at right-back while Marcelo looks to use his experience to get the better of the opposition while acting as the left-back.
David Alaba will be rested on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive line.
Midfield
Ancelotti’s midfield could be comprised of Dani Ceballos, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde. Camavinga has produced a decent performance in the recent games, so all eyes will be on him to put in another positive display in the midweek.
Luka Modric and Toni Kroos can expect to get a rest but might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Rodrygo on the left-wing and Marco Asensio on the right-wing would look to create some decent chances for Luka Jovic who will feature at the centre forward position. The striker will fancy his chances of finding the back of the net.
