Barcelona welcomed Celta Vigo at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result at home. The Catalan giants made a great start to the game and broke the deadlock at the half-hour mark when Memphis Depay scored with a good strike.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored two quick goals on either side of the half-time break to put Barca 3-0 up on the night. However, the visitors got a consolation goal back via Iago Aspas’ effort in the 50th minute. Things went from bad to worse for Celta Vigo as Jeison Murillo was sent off just eight minutes later. Barca ended up cruising to a comfortable 3-1 win in front of their home supporters.
