West Ham United faced off against Burnley at the London Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn all three points at home. The Hammers made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Wout Weghorst found the back of the net for the Clarets. The East London outfit went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

David Moyes’ men finally found a way back into the match in the 74th minute via Thomas Soucek’s goal from close range. The contest finished with both teams playing out a 1-1 draw in the English capital.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player performed during the match against the Clarets.

GK: Łukasz Fabiański – 5.5/10

Fabianski didn’t have a save to make in the game but was tidy with his passing.

RB: Ben Johnson – 7/10

Johnson was solid at the back as he cleared the danger when needed. He also made some decent chances in the final third.

CB: Craig Dawson – 6.5/10

He made a few crucial clearances during the game and was strong in the air.

CB: Issa Diop – 7/10

Diop made multiple clearances at the back and won his fair share of aerial duels.

CM: Declan Rice – 7/10

Rice struggled to protect his backline at times but was a constant menace in the Burnley half.

RW: Jarrod Bowen – 6.5/10

Bowen threatened the opposition goal at times but didn’t do enough to get his name on the scoresheet.

CAM: Manuel Lanzini – 7/10

Lanzini managed to create some decent openings for his teammates and ended the game with an assist to his name.

LW: Nikola Vlasic – 6/10

Vlasic has made a couple of decent chances in the final third but got replaced in the 64th minute.

ST: Michail Antonio – 7/10

Antonio did everything but score today. He deserves a lot of credit for causing a lot of headaches for the opposition centre-backs.
