West Ham United faced off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they looked to earn a positive result in the London derby. The Hammers made a bright start to the game and managed to get into the half-time interval with a goalless scoreline.

The East London outfit found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the 86th minute when Craig Dawson was sent off in the 86th minute. Chelsea missed their penalty but soon went on to take the lead just four minutes later when Christian Pulisic scored with a tidy finish. The match ended with West Ham suffering a narrow 1-0 loss in the derby.

Let’s take a look at how each West Ham player performed during the clash against the Blues.

GK: Łukasz Fabiański – 8/10

The Polish keeper made a few crucial saves at the back which includes stopping a late penalty. However, he failed to keep a clean sheet in the end.

CB: Ben Johnson – 6.5/10

He made a few important clearances inside his half but will be disappointed after conceding a late goal.

CB: Craig Dawson – 5.5/10

CB: Aaron Cresswell – 6/10

He kept things solid on the defensive end of the field for most of the game but didn’t do enough to secure the clean sheet.
