They currently hover below Real Madrid, who are twelve points ahead of them, with Sevilla chasing behind them.

Team News

Ronald Araujo will be sidelined due to a suspension and veteran defender Gerard Pique isn’t expected to return anytime soon.

Ansu Fati hasn’t been cleared for first-team selection but has been back in training; Sergi Roberto has been out suffering from a hamstring problem since November. Samuel Umtiti could be expected to return before the match against Cadiz but is not likely to start. Pedri has picked up a hamstring injury, due to which his impressive run in form has come to a halt.

4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Eintracht Frankfurt

Xavi Hernandez will have to rotate his lineup due to several key players being sidelined following injury woes. He will be opting for a 4-3-3 formation but will have to switch things up in the midfield and the defence.

Defence

Marc-André Ter Stegen is to feature in the goal for the Catalans

Gerard Pique is unavailable due to an injury setback that forced him out of the field in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final. Eric Garcia will look to partner up with the Clement Lenglet to form the centre of the backline.

Jordi Alba is guaranteed to start with Veteran right-back Dani Alves on the opposite side.

Midfield

Xavi’s midfield could be comprised of Sergio Busquets, Nico and Frenkie De Jong who are in excellent form as evident from their recent performances.

Attack

Ousmane Dembele and Ferran Torres could acquire the wide areas, along with the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who will lead the attack against Frankfurt.
