Chelsea entertained West Ham United at Stamford Bridge earlier this afternoon as they looked to secure all three points at home. Both sides fought tooth and nail in the first half but struggled to break each other down as they went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
The West London outfit went on in search of the winning goal in the second half and finally found it in the 90th minute when Christian Pulisic found the back of the net with a tidy finish. The match ended with the Blues earning a narrow 1-0 win at home.

The Brazilian centre-back earned the ball back a couple of times and cleared the danger when the Hammers were looking to threaten on the counter.

He made a couple of crucial clearances and was lively on the ball as well.
RM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek – 7/10
Loftus-Cheek anchored the midfield with conviction and engineered a handful of inviting chances in the final third.

The French sensation was full of energy and running at the centre of the park and was a real threat going forward.
CM: Jorginho – 7/10
The Italy international made a few essential interceptions in midfield and had a good game in the West Ham half. However, he was guilty of missing his penalty late in the game.

The Spaniard caused a few problems for the West Ham defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.

He was a constant menace in front of the opponent’s goal but failed to take any of his chances.

Havertz orchestrated two good chances in the final third but never looked like he would score.

The German caused a few problems for the opposition but failed to register a goal.
