Chelsea clashed heads with Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they focused on collecting a good result on their travels. The Blues failed to finish off their chances in the first half and were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.
The West London outfit began the second half well and managed to get their noses ahead at the hour mark when Marcos Alonso scored with a low strike. However, their lead lasted for just two minutes as Cristiano Ronaldo scored the leveler with a good strike. The match ended with Chelsea being held to a 1-1 draw in Manchester.

James gave a good account of himself in both halves but was unfortunate to hit the crossbar.

The Italy international anchored the midfield really well and had a couple of lively moments in the Man United half.

He tried his best to protect his teammates at the back and was quite creative with the ball in the final third.
LM: Marcos Alonso – 7.5/10
The Spanish talent caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders and scored Chelsea’s only goal of the game at the hour mark.

Mount created a few inviting chances for his teammates but never threatened the Man United goal.

He was mostly quiet during the game and hardly got a sniff at goal.
