Arsenal clashed heads with Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a positive result on their travels. The Gunners had a sloppy first half as they conceded the opening goal in the 44th minute when Jan Bednarek scored for the Saints. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
The North London giants failed to come up with a response in the second half despite enjoying more of the ball and ended up losing the game by a narrow 1-0 scoreline.
Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player performed during the match against the Saints.
