Tottenham Hotspur entertained West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to pick up maximum points at home. Spurs made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the ninth minute because of Kurt Zouma’s unfortunate own goal. Heung-min Son doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the 24th minute with a left-footed finish but Said Benrahma got a goal back for the Hammers just 11 minutes later. Antonio Conte’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

Spurs controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and managed to kill the game off in the 88th minute when Son found the back of the net once again. The contest finished with Tottenham securing an impressive 3-1 win in the London derby.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the match against the Hammers.

GK: Hugo Lloris – 6/10

The French keeper did not have a save to make in the game but will be disappointed for conceding a goal after the half-hour mark.

CB: Cristian Romero – 7/10

Romero earned the ball back a few times and cleared the danger when needed. He even made a good chance in the final third.

CB: Eric Dier – 6/10

He made one crucial interception at the back and maintained a good defensive shape for most of the game.

CB: Ben Davies – 6/10

Davies secured the ball back a couple of times and was tidy with his passing.
