Tottenham Hotspur entertained West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to pick up maximum points at home. Spurs made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the ninth minute because of Kurt Zouma’s unfortunate own goal. Heung-min Son doubled Tottenham’s advantage in the 24th minute with a left-footed finish but Said Benrahma got a goal back for the Hammers just 11 minutes later. Antonio Conte’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Spurs controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes and managed to kill the game off in the 88th minute when Son found the back of the net once again. The contest finished with Tottenham securing an impressive 3-1 win in the London derby.
