Everton faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they focused on grinding out a result away from home. The Toffees made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 14th minute when Michael Keane scored an unfortunate own goal. Just three minutes later, Heung-min Son got his name on the scoresheet before Harry Kane made it 3-0 to Tottenham in the 37th minute. Antonio Conte’s men went into the half-time interval with a healthy 3-0 lead.
Sergio Reguilon found the back of the net early in the second half which killed the game off. Kane scored again in the 55th minute to put the icing on the cake for Spurs as the Toffees crashed to a horror 5-0 loss on the road.
